Comedy
Comedy is a picture genre perfect for those who in a bad mood and want improve his state without any serious efforts. Comedy genre films are films with a humoristic or satirical plot, the aim of those films to cheer up a viewer to make him laugh. Comedies usually leave the impression of bright spirit. The plot of the comedy usually doesn't contain any deep thoughts or ideas, no important questions are risen in such movies no problems are described. Sure if there is a rule there should be an exception to prove this rule, and when talking about comedies those exceptions may be comedies with satiric plot. In comedies like that different disadvantages of society, culture or political system of the country are mocked. Sure there are cases when such movies are forbidden to show as they considered being films of such kind that may result rebellion of society against politicians or simply inspire society with disrespect to government. Frankly speaking a lot of people believe that such films are of great importance as they put in the window everything that is hide or simply remains unnoticed and as a result unchanged. There is a hope that if nation will see their shortcomings as the onlookers they will realize what is wrong in the society and what should be change and by means of such activity society may improve their way of life and their relationships.
Just like any other genres comedy genre has its emblematic personalities and pictures. No doubt the greatest and for sure the most emblematic personality of comedy genre is Charley Chaplin. Charley Chaplin is iconic personality of the whole film history and especially of comedy genre. This great actor stared films at the age of silent pictures when words pronounced by actors remain muted as there were no technology that would made possible recording of both picture and sound. Still, even but for this fact Charley Chaplin was able to make laugh any one who watched films he acted at. There was no single person who would say that Chaplin is a bad actor or that movies he acts at are of no use and gives no esthetic pleasure. The image of Charley Chaplin also became iconic just like Chaplin himself. One may find a lot of nowadays comedy actors who in one or another way follows after style of famous comic.
There are also family comedies that are created for family viewing. Usually that films a rather kind and contains no scenes of violence or brutality. Typically plot of the comedies of such subgenre is developed in conditions of some holiday like Thanksgiving Day, New Year, Christmas or something. The brightest example of this genre is American 'Home Alone' film which no doubt may be considered as classic of the genre, as it's shown on TV every Christmas and is still admired.
