Catastrophe film
The films of catastrophe genre are usually the most large-budgetary films as to shoot these films a lot of expensive equipment is needed and not less expensive sceneries. Those are the films that describe catastrophe whether natural or anthropogenic one. Events march not very quickly at the beginning of the movie but hasten to the end of the film. The plot of the catastrophe picture usually is not very contrived as the goal of the film to describe the tragedy, to show how it is important to appreciate one's life as it may ends any second and nothing more could be done. Catastrophe films rouse the feeling of pain and sympathy for those who died or get hurt at certain catastrophe and this feelings result desire to help those who need help. Like those who suffered of floods or something, those people need means to restore their houses and repair damage caused by catastrophe and for government it's much easier to rouse feeling of sympathy of the nation and desire to help survivals, and those feelings are roused by catastrophe films.
Some catastrophe films are based on true stories and real events that took place some time ago. Such films describes the event of catastrophe in details to recollect in peoples' mind the memories about catastrophe or to tell about catastrophe those who don't know about it and sometimes to prevent further occurrence of the catastrophe (in case if it happened because of human's fault) by means of visual warning. To produce catastrophe film a great number of actors is usually needed and a great amount of time and equipment, so big sum of moneys are spent. The bigger sum of money spent on producing such film the bigger income it will bring, because according to statistic pictures of catastrophe films genre are admired by everyone no matter what kind of films he or she usually prefer.
Talking about catastrophe film genre one may not forget about the greatest film of this genre – the "Titanic". From the very beginning of its showing at cinemas "Titanic" became the most popular and favourite film all over the world. This film is based on true story of sinking of the great Titanic which was supposed to be came the unsinkable one; its constructors believed that they have created the eighth miracle of the world. Everyone was assured that there's no even the smallest chance to sink for Titanic and all of them were defrauded and this defrauding coasted a great number of lives. "Titanic" shows that there no single thing in the world one may be sure at in hundred per cents, and shows the peculiarities of humans' psychic, exactly what changes undergo one's behaviour in conditions of coming death, and those who were considered to be noble gentlemen turned to scoundrels in a moment and those who were considered as lower class of the society appeared to be those who worth their weight in gold.
